Absolutely agree with your comments about Valve lash adjustment -
But he asked about valves openning at TDC on the power stroke -
Just paid the bill for an airplane engine that needed a general overhaul - $14,100 - no one wants that kind of money going down the tubes on an airplane or proportionately similar amounts for a bike engine.
I doubt he got the cam out - but if he did - the results could readily be damaging
